Discover Circle

How treatment works, what affects your chances, and how to cope along the way.

What trying to conceive (and IVF) is really like.

Emma Lawson

IVF Patient & Founder

We tried to conceive for nearly four years and went through three rounds of IVF before our daughter arrived. Somewhere in the middle of it, the injections, the two-week waits, a failed cycle, the appointments where everyone used words I had to go home and look up, I realised how lost I felt despite all the information out there.

The clinical facts existed, but they were scattered and cold. What I couldn’t find was someone a step ahead, explaining honestly and in plain language what the process is actually like, what the numbers really mean, and how to keep yourself together through it.

Discover Circle is where I’ve gathered all of that, from my own years on this road and from others still on it. Every article is read for accuracy by a consultant in reproductive medicine. I’m not a clinician, just someone who came through it and wants you kinder to yourself than I managed to be.
